Gate 2025 : Exam Date, Syllabus, Paper Pattern

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially launched the GATE 2025 website. The official notification and prospectus for the GATE 2025 exam are expected to be released in August 2024. Registration for GATE 2025 is anticipated to begin on August 30, 2024, and will be open until September 30, 2024, without late fees. The GATE 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled to take place in the first and second weeks of February 2025. Prospective candidates should review the GATE 2025 eligibility criteria, syllabus, exam pattern, and other important details before completing the application form.

According to IIT Roorkee, candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their undergraduate degree in engineering, science, commerce, humanities, or arts are eligible to appear for the GATE 2025 exam. This brochure will include all crucial details regarding the GATE 2025 exam. The exam pattern for GATE 2025 has been published on the official website. The exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) lasting three hours and consisting of 65 questions worth a total of 100 marks. Candidates must complete these 65 questions within the three-hour timeframe. The questions will be in three formats: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) Questions. The GATE papers will include three sections: General Aptitude (GA), Engineering Mathematics (EM), and a subject-specific section chosen by the candidate.
