No CTET July 2025 Exam – CBSE to Restructure CTET under NCTE Act 2025

In a significant policy update, CBSE will not release the CTET July 2025 application form, as the examination system is being restructured. This decision aligns with the upcoming NCTE Act 2025 and the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

What Will Change?

  • CTET will now cover four distinct levels instead of the existing two:
    1. Pre-Primary
    2. Primary (Classes 1–5)
    3. Junior (Classes 6–8)
    4. Senior Secondary/TGT/PGT (Classes 9–12)
  • The new framework will allow B.Ed. degree holders to apply for pre-primary and primary posts, which were previously limited to D.El.Ed. holders.
  • A revised curriculum, updated exam structure, and improved teacher assessment process will be rolled out.

This reform aims to make teacher recruitment more transparent and ensure that future educators are trained under a uniform and upgraded system.
